Understanding generational diversity builds the resilience of a team. Olivia McIvor's program moves beyond the traditional view of employees and through the lens of the power of diversity, closing the gap on ageism, and building on strengths to help us better understand the critical need for establishing common ground amongst five competing personalities. This program touches on best practices for engagement, compelling social research and combatting wrongful perceptions in order to create the fabric of a respectful workplace ripe for recruitment and retention.
Harnessing the power of a spirited team is to embrace the power of a positive, diverse and committed group of individuals who see past themselves to the common good of all. Building collaborative relationships means building a safe environment where ideas can be expressed and explored. This program is designed to assist individuals and teams in developing a trusting community that values respect and cooperation. Building Collaborative Relationships within a company happens intentionally and is the key to weathering change and transition successfully.
Our society is built on a foundation of relationships that connect individuals to families, work and communities. From the playground to the boardroom, trusting relationships are at the heart of our challenges as well as our solutions. Kindness is a simple concept - too simple, some might think, to provide a solution to the complex and serious challenges of work such as bullying and disengagement. Research indicates that kindness as a core value has the power to affect change at all levels within individuals and the organizations. This program explores the framework for building an organization, company or team with the values of kindness.
In the field of positive psychology, there is general consensus that optimists observe and construe their surroundings in ways that strengthen and reinforce their happiness. They have a propensity to be more positive and hopeful in how they interact with their environment and adapt more readily to what comes their way -- in short, they are resilient and know how to bounce back by using a wider array of positive emotions. This session is designed to cultivate and grow participants awareness of their own optimism and sense of daily gratitude.
Starting a new relationship can be uncomfortable, but with a clear vision, mutual understanding and focus, it can lead to fresh perspectives and an abundance of growth.
How we work with you
The ideal coaching client is someone who craves growth and is after a specific kind of growth. They are keen to move ahead. They are idea people and love to learn new perspectives and want someone to help them think through the process and help them execute their business goals.
They are people who are committed, driven and passionate about their leadership and understand change is a journey and that coaching will help them achieve the results they have set for themselves. And... it starts with a conversation.
Coaches help you:
Whether you are new to an organization, beginning a new role, trying to decide if a change is right for you or if you just need a fresh perspective on your current challenges... we care and we are here to help.
"Fight for the things you care about,
but do it in a way that others will want to join you."

Society is built on a foundation of relationships which connect individuals to families, work environments, and communities. From playgrounds and courtrooms, to our staffrooms-- trusting relationships lie at the heart of our challenges as well as our solutions. The way we affect each other relates to the quality of our interactions and ultimately determines the wellbeing and success of our workday and life.
There are specific entry-points to which any situation can either create success and wellbeing in our workday or can create an unhealthy dynamic that can quickly turn a workplace situation to one that is disrespectful, aggressive and/or abusive. Many industries struggle with complex culture challenges, but the health industry is at the tipping point of workplace stress and abuse from three entry points; team members, colleagues , patients and families. And as of January 2020, the statistics are climbing due to an unprecedented challenge impacting the world.
